Beginner Sewing Class In-Person
Learn how to do basic hand and machine sewing stitches, sew on buttons, and hem with Kia. Kia supplies fabrics and a take-home sewing kit to get you started. She will also demonstrate using her sewing machine.
This class is limited to 10 people. Adults and teens (8th grade and up) are welcome to register in advance. The class is two hours. If you come, make sure that you set aside two to two-and-a-half hours.
Kia Symone is an artist and designer located in Orange County, NY. She uses textural inspiration from her African American culture and re-imagines the designs into her own unique style.
