Dr. Vasu Chirumamilla, MD, is surgeon at Good Samaritan Hospital who specializes in Robotic/Laparoscopic Surgery, Bariatric/Weight Loss Surgery and general surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Maria Scaffidi, MPA, RD, CDN is a registered dietician for over 20 years and is the Bariatric Coordinator at Good Samaritan Hospital since 2008. She provides patients with support and education about lifestyle changes needed for successful outcomes.
The Bariatric Surgery Program is accredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.
