If you are new to the English Language and want to learn the basics, as well as practice your English, join us on Mondays from 6:30-7:30pm at Suffern Library.

We will show you how to use our language learning database, Mango. On alterante weeks, we will have volunteers available to sit and converse with you in English and help you with simple conversations. 

These are informal sessions with a focus on learning basic conversational English.

Registration is not required. Just walk-in.

Bring your Suffern Library card so that we can get you started working with Mango. If you do not have a Suffern Library card but live in the Suffern Central School District, bring a picture ID, as well as proof of residency (examples include a bill, lease, mail with your name and address, an Amazon package delivered to your address with your name on it, etc.) and we'll help you complete the application for your Suffern Library card.
