Connections: Elaina Burns on Piano In-Person
Join us for an uplifting and inspiring piano recital curated to highlight musical and emotional connections between seemingly disparate pieces. Like a sommelier expertly crafting a tasting menu, Dr. Burns will pair selections from Bach’s Goldberg Variations with works by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and others. She will describe each pairing, demonstrating short excerpts to enhance the experience before performing each set in full.
Dr. Burns is excited to return to the Suffern Library Concert Series. Her previous recitals at the library, Toccare (2018) and Renewal (2022), were extremely well received and deeply fulfilling to her as an artist. She loves exploring and performing works for the warm and receptive audiences at Suffern, and she hopes to see you there!
