What is Classical Music? In-Person
Join us for a performance and discussion by a flute trio. Most people use the term 'Classical Music' to mean anything played by a symphony, whether it be Bach or Bernstein. However, there is a more specific definition for 'Classical Music.' In this program, we discuss and perform works that demonstrate what makes a ‘Classical' composition different from other styles of symphonic or chamber music. A truly ‘Classical’ work brings a special joy to both the listener and performer, and this presentation will help to explain what it is in the Classical Style that makes this music so beautiful and timeless.
Register online so that we know how many chairs to set up. All are welcome. Walk-ins are welcome.
